Wilfred was boarding with his widowed mother and his brother and sister at School Lane, with Harry & Mary Jenkins. Before the war he worked as a Mill Hand Piecer in Huddersfield where he boarded with the Wilson family. He left for France from Southampton on 5/9/1914 and was gassed on the Western Front.
