Albert Woolley

Birth: 1884
Regiment: 42027 - 3rd Battalion Army Training Regiment

 

Albert was born in Newtown to Annie and Edward, a flannel fisher and lived in Lanfair Road, a brother and sister also lived with them.  He worked as a draper and later married Emily Violet and lived at the Waggon Cottage Canal Road with their daughter Margaret Irene Iris. He was 5'11" with a 35" chest and has varicose veins in both legs. He served with the BEF in France from 24/07/1917 until 16/12/1919 with the 42027 - 3rd Battalion Army Training Regiment.
