Richard known as Dick the Sweep, the trade he was doing in 1939, was born to Arthur R, a Plumber and Sarah. They had live at Sheaf Street. Richard married Gladys and had 2 daughters, Ruby and Connie. He fought and was killed in the Dardanelles. He brought back a heart shaped stone on which he had carved the names of his wife and two daughters.
