Killed: 29/4/1915 in Gallipoli

 

James was a son of Reuben, harpist & Ellen (Wood) & garndson of John Roberts(harpist) He had 8 brothers & lived in Crescent Street . He served in China where he was involved in the capture of Tsing Tau , then sent to Gallipoli, where he was killed . He is commemorated there on the Helles Memorial.
