George Richards

 

George’s mother was Sarah, he had 2 brothers and lived in 3 Stone St working as a bricklayer. He was 5'4'', weighed 147lbs and had a 36'' chest. On 10/12/1915 he was part of the BEF which went to France and in January 1917 he was hospitalised with a carbuncle on his right thigh, being discharged in Rouen on 23/10/1918. He was awarded the British War and Victory medals.
