Evan Edward Lloyd

Regiment: 171223 Army Service Corps
Killed: 30/12/1917 When ship Aragon was torpedoed

 

Evan was born to William, a fuller, & Anne. He had a brother and sister & lived at 4, Picton's Row.  He worked as a cattleman on a farm, then joined his brother as a gardener at Dolerw Park. He married Jennie. Evan was killed when his ship Aragon, was torpedoed on 30th December 1917 en route to Eygypt.  He is commemorated in St. Davids, Llanllwchaiarn Church & Baptist Chapel.
