Norman Jones

Norman was a son of William, a wool sorter, & Christina (Collins) He had 3 sisters & 4 brothers (all brothers served in WW1) and lived in Frankwell St. He married Eleanor (Nell) Breeze & had a son. In 1913 he emigrated to Canada, to where it was planned that his wife and son would join him, but the war changed their plans. He served in France where he was shot & died of his wounds. He is commemorated in St David's & Llanllwchaiarn Churches and the Baptist Chapel.
