Archibald Edward Clayton Humphreys

Birth: 1874
Death: 7/10/1918
Regiment: 694 - 4th Battalion RWF

 

Archibald was a son of Evan, a draper & Mary Jane (Clayton), living at Cil Haul, Dolfor Road & 45 Pool Road. He had 3 brothers & 2 sisters & worked as a grocer's assistant, and later in Shrewsbury Records Office. He was posted to Herne Bay where he died of pneumonia and was then buried in Newtown Cemetery. He is commemorated in St David's Church.
