David was born to Mr & Mrs Davies in Mold. They Later moved to Newtown where Mr David Davies was coachman to Mr Huw Lewis, Glanhafren. He married Violet Maud Weaving, had 1 child and lived at Evans Court, Ladywell Street & Worthington Place. He died from gunshot wounds in Cairo and is commemorated at Port Said War Memorial. and in St. David's Church. He received the Briish War & Victory medals.
