Thomas Edward Beadles

Thomas was born to Robert & Annie, had 2 sisters & a brother and lived at Bakehouse Court, Chapel Street. He married Ethel May and they lived at 58 Ladywell Street with their 2 children. He was gassed in Egypt, survived but was killed in action in the Battle of Ainse in France on 8th September 1918. He was buried at Sister Elilie Valley Cemetery, Vilars Faucon, the Somme.  He was awarded the British War & Victory medals and is commemorated in St David's Church.
